There's some gorgeous rides around here, along with the "fun" ones.

There sure is.  The road to Thala resort (aka Captain Cook Hwy) was just way too boring in a cage.  I just loved those full hook 50km/h corners.

Shame the MP3 couldn't be loaded into the plane as "sporting equipment".

Maybe an excuse for a quick ride up to Cairns??

If you do bring the MP3 up, make sure you go up the Gillies at least. Nice series of hairpins at the bottom and exciting blind corners all the way up. It's where all the cool kids are! Or at the Mountain View pub at the bottom gearing up for another lap.

Ahh, we all have to have our toys, that is why I have a TGB R50X in the garage. Perfect for, hmm, just going to the post office?  Grin

A pretty cheap mod that you could do that will get you close to your desired top speed would be a slightly heavier roller.  If you have someone that has the right tools and is handy with them or maybe during your next service, you could try that one out.  A set of rollers should be no more than $20.

Hi guys. TGB Pete here. I got 2 TGB's, a 101R 125, and a 250 XMotion. Just found this a couple of days ago. I do a lot of k's around the gold coast, and the 250 finds it's way out into the boonies occasionally, as well as carting the missus up to brissy once in a while. Judi and I would be interested in some organised rides if there are any going. We've covered about 20.000k's over the las 15 months between the two scoots.

Come along to any of the rides being held, we welcome all scooters & riders to our ones. You'll meet some people with the same interest. If you've ever seen the top gear episode where they do Vietnam on bikes & scoot.....

:)G'day all you scooter riders.I'm Rolly.Yes,I ride an 07 600cc Silverwing. It's my Everyday transport, rain, hail or shine.I'm a fitter at the local Paper mill.My Wing is called Daisey, after the movie Driving Miss Daisey. It's the easiest thing to ride.More time to concentrate on riding rather than changing gears. Will ride almost anywhere ,anytime as long as there's a bed and a cold beer or 2 at the end.I like Qld roads.Far better than the crap down here.enough for now,Cheers,Beers.Rolly.  Hi Queeg,

Thanks for the welcome and hello all. I am the new proud owner of TGB Tapo with a Tecnigas pipe. I will get pics up asap. My previous ride was a Yamaha YQ 50. The Aerox glided along at about 70kms on the flat ( original pipe de-restricted and second stage removed). The Tapo although not "ran in" yet glides smoothly at 75-80 with plenty left from the throttle and Engine. I'm quite certain it will get near the 100km mark after run in. It's a good looking little bike with a good feel, I'm very Happy so far.

Hey all,

This is my first look at a scooter forum.  I bought a brand new SYM Jolie a few months ago.  I live on the Gold Coast and it's a great way of getting around.  It's only 49CC but the guy I bought it off was nice enough to derestrict it for me so I can now go up to around 75-80ks - which is a lot safer I think!

I will eventually move up and get a bigger bike but for now I'm happy zipping around on my Jolie.  Plus I love that it is small as I am a pretty small chick and can touch the ground easily.  I did a Q-Ride course to learn how to ride it properly which I think is important.  You see so many idiots out there who don't know what they're doing.

Anyway, that's all from me now!
