Anyone on here got a 250?. I know they are around, I've seen them. I have a TGB 250. They apparently have the SYM motor, injected watercooled and very roomy in the seat. The wife and I have used it on the M1 to Brisy and back to the Gold Coast.Cruises very well up to 130 k's. Don't know how fast it goes, I don't need to find out.
We've also got a TGB 125, does 110 k's. Both scoots average 3.5 ltrs per 100 k's around the coast. We brought the 125 new, it has 9000k's on the clock in the 14months we've had it, with no probs. It's for sale if anyone is interested, call Peter on 0415 862 223. The model is 101R
The 250 we brought last year, ex rental with 3000k's on the clock. It's blown 2 regulators. This was fixed by cutting a small hole in the side panel to allow airflow to cool it. The regulator is mounted near the exhaust, so it gets too hot without the vent. The scooter shop did the mod, and it looks and works brilliantly. I have done a lot of local tours with it since the mod, and no probs. I am looking for others to do some riding with. If anyone is interested please call me on 0415 86 2223.
