:)G'day.Rolly from Nowra Hill,168 klms south of Sydney. This is my Real World evaluation of my Wing.Comfort,perfection.I'm 6' and about 80kgs fully loaded. The only mod was the lumbar support on the seat.An american site,Leroy Beale .net provided the info to make the Butt rest into a back rest.Quick, cheap and easy to do.The motor,an absolute rip snortin, ball tearin little unit provides more grunt than the scoot can handle.I mean that in the respect that it goes faster than it's capable of keeping things under control. The suspension, this is what lets the scooter down.Typical Honda 20 or 30 years ago.Under sprung and under damped.Change the fork oil to 20 weight and that helps a lot.The arse end is OK if most riding-touring is one up and fully loaded with rider and gear no more than around 90kgs.Lights are great for standard units if the high beam is adjusted correctly.Weather protection, very good as is.The sceen is OK for anyone about 5'9" and shorter.Plenty of room under the seat for gear and I use an Andy's A bag(30 litre) on the passenger seat.Fuel consumption is strange.Naturally better on a trip, but better if it's worked a little harder.Optimum revs seem to be 5 to 6 k.The best so far is 300k on 11.2 litres.16 litre tank.Standard IRC tires were CRAP,20k,had to get rid of them, couldn't wear them out.Bridgestone Hoops on now, better, but next time,Michelin, couldn't get them in time.It really is a great scooter, and will probably see this old fossil out.Cheers,Rolly. Grin Just fitted a set of Storm Barkbusters to the Wing.Fantastic.$126 from Pro cycles or any local Bike shop.No more cold wet hands.

Thats a couple of good trips under your wing (boom boom - get it  Roll Eyes ).

I'd love to know more about the 2,000K trip, what you took, how you physically felt while doing the K's (cramps, leg positioning etc) & anything else you want to share

Sounds like a great ride.  Being a Honda, it is probably very reliable.  I had a Piaggio MP3 and had no end of trouble with the thing, it nearly killed me once, which was its final straw.

Have sent you a PM.You'll understand when you read it.Forgot to mention how I feel after a long trip.Very tired, but No aches or pains.Always fuel up around 250 to 300 k's.Then have a cuppa and a small, light snack. No cramps, plenty of leg room to move at least the left leg if I need to.I havent added a Throttle lock yet, just a throttle rocker or cramp buster as some call it.It allows me to flex my fingers without taking it off the bars.Looking forward to seeing if the Barkbusters and Laminar lip make a difference.Cheers Bloke,Rolly.
